Advocating for persons with disabilities
what I have learned from having a disability was that you have to advocate for yourself .within the school and with the government because it can have an effect, for example, Children with Autism are now having a lot more resources due to the fact that there are strong parent organization that have been lobbying for their kids so it has a lot to do with advocating for Children right to a full academic experience.

disability and restriction in the school system
I discovered well researching a story that the BC government has a limit on the number of students with behaviour problems that qualify for assistance. the problem with this is that quota doesn't match the need with in the school according to research about five per cent of the student population are students with intensive behaviour problems were the BC government has placed the limit at about two per cent which has left a need in the school system that already struggle for resources which could lead to students falling through the cracks.
